Coordinated Access Point Program (CAPP)

The Coordinated Access Point Program (CAPP) is a pilot program of Southwestern Community Services (SCS), created to address the current opioid epidemic. This initiative provides a single point of contact for individuals who want to begin treatment to recover from their addiction. CAPP augments the ongoing work of the many state, regional, and local entities striving to make a difference and save lives.

Serving the Monadnock Region, CAPP works with individuals and families in crisis due to addiction. The Coordinated Access Point Program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 1.844.604.7878.

Monadnock Alcohol & Drug Abuse Coalition (MADAC)

The Monadnock Alcohol & Drug Abuse Coalition, with the help of community members and diverse volunteers, aims to reduce youth alcohol and substance use in Cheshire county. Prevention initiatives are conducted year round and include media campaigns, youth-led anti-drug campaigns, school and college events, speaker presentations, and numerous one-time events. Your assistance would help to make these initiatives a success by offering our children a healthier environment and by helping them to develop the ability to make wise choices around alcohol and substance use. To find out about volunteer opportunities, contact Sarah Johnston at 603.719.4297 or email at sjohnston@scshelps.org.

You are invited to spend some time helping with alcohol and drug use prevention activities with and for the youth and young adults of Cheshire county.
